Why travel to Cebu, Philippines of all places? What makes Cebu, Philippines special among all other places across the country, or even the world? If your travel plans for this year includes Cebu, here are some reasons why we are confident that you will not regret your decision on choosing Cebu as a travel destination. What makes Cebu PopularEven if we did not speak one of the most famous sights of Cebu, the Philippines, there are still other things to do in Cebu popular among tourists. First, it's food. If you like yellow ripe mangoes, you absolutely must go to Guadulupe because their mangoes – served dried or not – can not fail to make the taste of water. And then there's the pork rind or pork skin, and if you've never tasted pork, however, a good place to start would be to Cebu. Other food to explore in Cebu would be "put" hanging rice, dangit, a dried fish is mainly eaten at breakfast and budbud, another type of rice. And then there are the souvenirs or other accessories can be purchased only in Cebu, Philippines. If you come from a country experiencing all four seasons – Back home people, probably would be grateful if you give them very well hand-woven rugs on the basis of Argao. People with deep faith, no doubt appreciate as gifts and medallions of the Child Jesus. For fashion lovers, jewelry made from Mactan stone, corals or seashells are very popular. Finally, there are the guitars. People with fine ears for music can not fail to appreciate the quality of guitars manufactured in Cebu. If you also want to see for themselves the process of making a guitar from beginning to end, Lapulapu City, Cebu is the place to go.And now, finally, we come to places …Magellan Cross – From the Philippines began to be of interest to the world through the discovery by Ferdinand Magellan in 1521, tourists could also begin their travel plans by visiting Magellan's Cross, which is located on Calle Magallanes town Cebu. This place is of great historical value in the Philippines, as it is also where the baptismal rites of the first Christian Filipinos were performed.Cebu City – Water sports have always been a valued activity by tourists when visiting the Cebu and if you are interested in this too, make sure you drop by Mactan Island because the waves are not equal anywhere else.Cebu is also the starting point to other interesting destinations like Dumaguete, Bohol and Sumilon.

This may be a presumptuous statement to make, but after reading this entire article, it is a good chance that you would agree to this statement as well. But first, let's get to basics. Zebu, as mentioned, is the Philippines. Now, when talking about the Philippines is either in Manila or Boracay – these are the first places to come to your mind. But I assure you that Cebu is as good as those two places. Better yet, it is not necessary to go to other cities in the Philippines, to get to Cebu. As one of the main ports of the country, Cebu is still accessible directly from other countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong, China. Since Cebu is highly urbanized, tourists do not need to worry about where to buy toiletries and other necessities, as there are department stores and convenience stores 24 hours strategically located across the city. But enough of that and go to the good stuff. The Olango Wildlife Sanctuary should always be high in terms of tourism in Cebu, Philippines. In this sanctuary, visitors can take a look at the different species of migratory birds from as far away as China and Siberia. Based on studies of this natural phenomenon, these birds choose Olango as a wintering area and a way to increase their fat reserves before resuming flight. Cebu Fort San Pedro is the oldest tri-bastion fort in the Philippines. Built in 1565, 8-foot thick walls and 30 feet high tower witnessed several wars, not least would be World War II, which served as headquarters for U.S. Soldiers. Gorordo House Museum is also a popular destination for Once tourists arrive in Cebu. Taking a tour of this museum is guarded like stepping into another time and age, with beautiful antique furniture on display and preservation of residential properties in the old days, like the beautiful courtyard. And speaking of Gorordo, make sure you visit 415 Avenue Gorordo Lahug, Cebu City, and this is the direction of the Piano Museum Council. In this museum, which would be capable of a vision of a collection of some hundreds of pianos of different shapes and sizes. Finally, in Matutinao Kawasan Falls, Badian. The sight of this majestic waterfall, probably makes you think how lucky we are to live in a beautiful world.

The casino sector in the Philippines is one of the most dynamic sectors of the Philippine economy. Philippines casinos are popular with locals, but tourists are increasingly at the base of customers in most casinos. "Traditionally, most casinos in the Philippines were authorized by a Crown corporation called PAGCOR, but recent liberalization of the rules has allowed private companies to open businesses of their own casino, encouraged by the growing popularity of games gambling in the country. The largest concentration of Philippines casinos can be found, as expected, in the Philippine capital, Manila. Manila casinos are the largest and most desirable in the country, attracting thousands of visitors each year, travelers, many of them from abroad. The capital is very popular among tourists from neighboring countries in Asia, but also further, including the United States and Europe. Consequently, casinos are a natural magnet for visitors wishing to relax in what can sometimes be a very lively and vibrant nightlife with a varied and thriving. Manila casinos are famous for its relaxed atmosphere, and socialization is considered almost as important as the pace of the game play is often very slow, which acts as a welcome antidote to the frenetic pace of city life. One of the most desirable Philippines casinos was the PAGCOR-owned Subic Bay Legend, situated at Subic Bay north of Manila, on the site of a former U.S. Navy, but the casino was closed in May 2006. However, there is another casino in the development of Subic Bay called the Diamond, with tentative plans to build new casinos in the region. Casino development is encouraged by positive economic conditions in the Philippines, a cheaper place to do business than alternative countries such as Macao and Japan, and the more relaxed rules on casino ownership in areas such as Bay Subic, which have "Special Economic Zone" status to encourage investment. In addition to these advances, there are several casinos further afield in the Philippines, including the islands of Cebu and Davao. The PanAsia Poker Tour has also hosted its first event in a casino in the Philippines, the Philippines Open, which is open to poker players worldwide and is held at the Airport Casino Filipino. Philippines casinos are a growing part of the Filipino tourist scene, and to provide an alternative more attractive to casinos in other countries in East Asia.

A lawyer by training, Mark was convicted of murdering a political opponent of his father in 1939 and, since its condemned cell, argued his case before the Supreme Court of the Philippines, where he won an acquittal. During the Second World War, Marcos collaborated with the Japanese occupied the Philippines – although he later claimed to have carried the Filipino resistance, a fiction in the United States agreed, awarding medals. He left a rich man's war and served in the House of Representatives and Senate of the Philippines, by changing the game when it suited him. Elected president in 1965, won a second term in 1969. However, in 1972, declared martial law, imprisonment of political opponents, dissolved Congress, suspended habeas corpus and is used in the army as a private police force. He then wrote a new constitution giving himself more power. His wife, Imelda, and other family members have received lucrative government positions. While the Filipino people lived in poverty, Mark flaunt their extravagant lifestyle, Imelda became world famous for its huge collection of shoes. (Although the acquisition of shoes, of course, can be a worthwhile endeavor, especially from the point of a shoemaker of view, one wonders if it supports an entire population in misery.) In 1981, Mark martial law ended, but continued to rule by decree. Opposition leader Benigno Aquino, who had gone into exile after being imprisoned for eight years for Mark, returned in 1983, but was shot by order of Imelda, if faced with a planeload of journalists, after the landing in Manila. This led to riots. An official investigation showed a high overall score Fabian Ver A family friend of Marcos, Ver was acquitted when the case came before the court.

In the Philippines, however, not to extreme temperatures to consider. If you are traveling in the Philippines between the months March to May, do not forget to bring lots of light clothes because it is hot and dry season. During the months from June to October is the rainy season to welcome you during your trip to the Philippines. Finally, the months from November to February are probably the best times of year to travel to the Philippines because it is cool but dry. One thing very convenient for those traveling, right?Philippine Travel Tip # 3 – Party Time. One of the most unique experiences and fun you can have when traveling in the Philippines is being part of the holiday season. The entire town or city in much at a party and everyone's house is open to all natives and foreigners. Filipino dishes are prepared in each household and colorful banners are hung everywhere so you know when there's a game in progress. It's a bit of style. The first thing that happens on arrival is given the grand tour of the city, before being taken to your "casitta '/ web / Villa. We were fortunate to have a beach casitta was only one way short of what was almost our own private beach, and the beach. Imagine white talcum powder as far as the eye can sea, backed by the most beautiful colors of green and turquoise blue sea and pale. I thought I had seen the world's most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles – not.The casita has wall to wall windows, so that the water views are absolutely spectacular. There is a king size bed, huge bathroom with dressing area, separate shower and tub, all at A1.Outside there is a large terrace with two sofa beds and a hammock, and all totally private. You can add this cotton dress to the most beautiful from there, wonderful fluffy towels, toiletries and fresh fruit all day. After all it is not surprising to discover that the food was another feature of Ananpulo. There is a la carte menu, daily specials, and do what you want to cook, and you can eat anywhere virtually at any time. A gastronomic paradise.Particularly noteworthy was the beach club paella, and barbecues. This is not a hotel for people who need to be entertained, with most activity being on or under water, then, of course, is the beach.Probably the highlight of all was the unbelievable subtle and sophisticated level of service, making Amanpulo as one of the finest resorts around the world.

When I think of the franchise Jollibee in the Philippines, usually all I can think of is the fire hydrant or Yumburgers ChickenJoy. But in reality, it takes much more than food for Jollibee. If you are curious about the activities of the division for both the Philippines and Jollibee Jollibee International, so hopefully this article will help you a bit.Acquisitions in PhilippinesThe company is actually known as Jollibee Foods Corporation. Oh, and if you thought it was the food chain Jollibee is operated only by the rapid coporation, boy you're in for a surprise. For me, it looks like JFC owns a majority stake in every niche of fast food Filipino. Always eat at Chow King? I know I like the halo-halo there, but did you know that in 2000, JFC acquired Chowking. Yes, all the delicious oriental style fast Chow King is operated at a high level by the same corporation as Jollibee. Oh, and it's not all. Jollibee Foods Corporation seems to have the idea that diversification is the key to its future, and I think they are on track. JFC also bought food pizza popular fast food restaurant known as Greenwich Pizza. Also in 2005, Red Ribbon Bakery became part of JFC. Continuing the theme of cooking, JFC acquired the French bakery and cafe known as Delifrance. The division of JFC that handles business in the Philippines is known as Jollibee Philippines.Acquisitions outside the PhilippinesJFC has holdings in several other Asian countries, including China and Taiwan. There is a Chinese fast food chain Yonghe King in mainland China called (based in Shanghai), which is owned and operated by JFC. Another Chinese restaurant chain called Hongzhuangyuan was acquired September 21, 2007. This chain has 33 outlets in Beijing and was purchased by the amount of U.S. $ 50. 5 million.Wow. I'm sure was impressed when I discovered all acquisitions. Interestingly, when I enter any of the above strings which are owned and operated by the same company. I am glad that Jollibee has a long history with the Filipino community and, in addition to the amazing Jollibee stores in the Philippines, we can offer a variety of different foods ranging from pizza, oriental food, coffee and pastries . Yum.
